Check the file you downloaded from Seller Hub Reports and filled in, against eBay's documented column rules and limits. It stays in your browser; nothing is uploaded to eBay or to us.
What is checked, and where each rule comes from
Rules were read from the official eBay pages below on 2026-10-18. Start from the template you download from Seller Hub (Reports, then Upload); eBay says column definitions are shown when you hover a column header there, and this tool does not know your category's item specifics. Listings template: required columns Action, Category ID, Title, Start price, Quantity, Item photo URL, Condition ID, Description, Format, Duration and Location; Action is Add to post. Drafts template: Action (Draft) and Category ID are the only required columns. Limits: title 80 characters, Category ID 10, Start price 16 with no currency symbol, Location 45, photo URL 2,048 characters and up to 12 photos separated by | (spaces become %20), UPC 12, ISBN 10 or 13, EAN and ePID 13. Descriptions use simple HTML (<p>, <br>) for line breaks. Auction durations are 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 days and FixedPrice uses GTC. Schedule Time uses YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS. eBay's pages state no character encoding, so encoding is only a warning.

Which columns does an eBay bulk listing CSV need?
For the listings template: Action, Category ID, Title, Start price, Quantity, Item photo URL, Condition ID, Description, Format, Duration and Location. Drafts need only Action and Category ID.
Is this the old File Exchange format?
eBay says Seller Hub Reports replaced File Exchange and that legacy templates do not carry over, so this tool follows the Seller Hub Reports documentation.
Why does it say my item specifics are not checked?
Required item specifics depend on the category and appear in the template you download. This tool checks the general columns and limits only.
Is my file sent to eBay?
No. Nothing is uploaded; you upload to eBay yourself from Seller Hub.
