Formula: revenue is item price plus buyer-paid shipping. The final-value fee base is revenue plus buyer sales tax and any other fee-base charges you enter; estimated fees are that base × your final-value rate + per-order fee. Profit excludes buyer sales tax because it is not seller revenue. eBay may apply other category, store or international charges.

Source, checked 2026-10-03: eBay selling fees. eBay's published general example uses 13.6% and says the total sale amount includes item price, handling, shipping, sales tax and other applicable fees. This page is an estimate, not an eBay quote or guarantee. Confirm the exact fee in Seller Hub.

FAQ

What does eBay charge?

Are these rates guaranteed?

No. The rate is editable and should be matched to the fee shown in Seller Hub for the listing.
