PEI nurse registry search.

PEI nurses and midwives are regulated by the PEI College of Nursing & Midwifery. Its Find a Registrant page links to the public directories. This guide explains what they are.

Use the official register for the answer: The PEICNM directories are the source. This page does not look anyone up and cannot confirm registration.

What the PEICNM directories cover

PEICNM’s site says the College regulates registered nurses, nurse practitioners, registered psychiatric nurses, licensed practical nurses and midwives under the Regulated Health Professions Act. Its search page lists three directories: Search LPNs; Search RN, NP, Midwife, or RPN; and an Authorized Prescriber Directory.

We could not load the directories’ search fields or find a registration-number format, so this guide does not describe either. Open the directory to see what it offers.

Why you would check a nurse’s registration in Prince Edward Island

PEI employers and the public use the directories to check a nurse. Pick the directory that matches the profession: LPNs are in a separate directory from RNs, NPs, midwives and RPNs.

Frequently asked questions

Is ARNPEI the regulator?

This guide did not find ARNPEI on PEICNM’s site; PEICNM presents itself as the regulator of PEI nurses and midwives.

What can I search for in the PEICNM directories?

The page lists three directories (LPNs; RN, NP, Midwife or RPN; Authorized Prescribers). Search fields appear in each directory.

What does a PEI registration number look like?

We found no published format or check digit. Only the directory can show whether a number matches a registrant.

Can this page confirm a nurse is registered?

No. It queries nothing. Use the PEICNM directories.

Guide only — not a verification tool

This page is an independent guide that links to PEICNM’s official register. TNAADO is not affiliated with the regulator. It does not check anyone’s registration, implies no official verification, and nothing you might type here is transmitted anywhere. Use the official register to confirm a nurse is currently registered.
