CRNS nurse licence check.
CRNS publishes a public directory to confirm whether someone is allowed to work as a registered nurse in Saskatchewan. This guide explains what that directory is and links you to it.
Use the official register for the answer: CRNS’s directory is the source. This page does not look anyone up and cannot confirm a licence.
What the CRNS directory is
CRNS describes the directory as a way for “the public, employers, and nurses” to confirm whether someone is allowed to work as a registered nurse in Saskatchewan, and links it from its website as “Verify if a Nurse is licensed.”
The directory’s results table is headed Registrant, Registration, Effective and Expires, with “Has conditions” and “Disciplinary actions” filters. We could not find a published registration-number format, so this guide does not offer one.
Open the official register
The directory states that it is provided to registrants and the public to verify the status of individual professionals, that each registrant is responsible for the accuracy of their information, and that it is not to be used for commercial, marketing or fundraising purposes.
Why you would check a nurse’s registration in Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan employers and clients use the directory to confirm RN status before engaging a nurse. CRNS also runs a separate Independent Practice Register; that register concerns practices, not individual nurses, so it is not a substitute for checking the person.

Frequently asked questions
What does a CRNS registration number look like?
The directory shows a Registration column, but we found no published format or check digit. Only the directory can show whether a number matches a registrant.
What can I search for in the CRNS directory?
The directory page offers a search with Has conditions and Disciplinary actions filters; the fields it offers are shown on the directory itself.
Is the directory only for registered nurses?
CRNS describes it as confirming whether someone may work as a registered nurse in Saskatchewan. It does not describe it as covering other nursing professions.
Can this page confirm a nurse is licensed?
No. It queries nothing. Use the CRNS directory.
Guide only — not a verification tool
This page is an independent guide that links to CRNS’s official register. TNAADO is not affiliated with the regulator. It does not check anyone’s registration, implies no official verification, and nothing you might type here is transmitted anywhere. Use the official register to confirm a nurse is currently registered.
