Method and sources
Formula: revenue kept (net of VAT or GST you remit, UK and Australia only) minus the referral fee, closing fee, FBA fee, storage, plan share and your own costs. Referral fees follow each marketplace's own schedule and minimum. The Professional plan fee is spread over the units you sell a month.
Where fees come from: Canada's FBA fee is looked up from the size tier you pick and the shipping weight (CAD 0.80 lower for items under CAD 14). Australia's is looked up from dimensions and weight. UK FBA fees vary by category and season, so enter your own.
Not included: import duty, currency conversion, returns, long-term storage, advertising unless entered in "other costs".

FAQ
Why does the UK need me to type the FBA fee?
UK FBA fees depend on the size tier, weight, category group and time of year, with separate tables on Amazon's rate card. Rather than guess, the tool takes the figure you read from the rate card or Revenue Calculator.
Are the three marketplaces comparable?
Each uses its own currency and schedule, so profit is shown in local currency with no conversion. Use the same product in each to compare margin percentages rather than amounts.
Does Canada charge VAT or GST on this?
The Amazon.ca page does not describe tax on the fee base, so no tax adjustment is applied for Canada. Treat the Canadian result as before any GST/HST you collect and remit.
