Method and sources
FBA lookup: the size tier comes from the packaged dimensions and unit weight against the tier limits on the Amazon.com.au page. Envelopes use unit weight; parcels and oversize use the greater of unit weight and dimensional weight (length x width x height in cm divided by 4,000, in kg). The fee column depends on whether the item price is $13 or more. Weights above the last band of Small and Standard oversize add $0.01 per started kg, as in the page's own worked example.
Formula: revenue kept = buyer-paid total / 1.10 when you charge GST, otherwise the full total. Profit = revenue kept - referral fee - closing fee (media only) - FBA fee - storage - plan fee per unit - your costs. Referral fee is on the GST-inclusive total by default.
Limits: items above 116 x 116 x 102 cm or 23 kg are outside the standard FBA limits on the page, and the lookup says so rather than guessing.

FAQ
How is the Amazon Australia FBA fulfilment fee worked out?
By size tier and weight band. Envelope tiers use unit weight; parcel and oversize tiers use the greater of unit weight and dimensional weight (cm volume divided by 4,000, expressed in kg). Items priced under $13 have a lower fee column.
Does the referral fee include GST?
Amazon states its fees exclude GST and that the referral fee is a percentage of the total the buyer pays. It does not spell out GST treatment of that base, so the default uses the GST-inclusive price; verify with a settlement report.
What if my product is larger than the tiers?
Items over 116 x 116 x 102 cm or 23 kg are prohibited from standard FBA per the page, apart from a few exceptions, so the tool shows an out-of-range message.
