Formula: referral fee = category percentage x total sales price, where the total is the amount the buyer pays including delivery and gift wrap. Amazon.com.au states there is no minimum or maximum referral fee. Tiered categories (Computers, Jewellery, Shoes, Handbags & Sunglasses, Sports and Outdoors, Watches) charge the second rate only on the portion above the limit.
Closing fee: media categories (Media, Video Games and Gaming Accessories, Video Game Consoles) also pay $1.00 per item sold. The Individual plan's $0.99 per item is listed both as that plan's fee and as its fixed closing fee; it is not added here, so it is not double-counted.
