Formula: revenue kept = buyer-paid total / (1 + IVA) when you charge IVA, otherwise the full total. Profit = revenue kept - referral fee - FBA fulfilment fee - storage - plan fee per unit - your product, inbound and other costs. Amazon.com.mx quotes the referral and FBA fees with IVA already included, so no tax is added on top.
Worked example from this tool: a MXN 400.00 Home and Kitchen item, standard size, 0.45 kg, packed 30 x 20 x 10 cm. Referral fee MXN 60.00 (15% of the total price, minimum MXN 8.00); FBA fee MXN 54.00 from the 299-to-under-499 price band and the 0.40 to 0.50 kg row; one month of storage MXN 2.16; the 75 peso Professional plan at 100 units a month adds MXN 0.75 a unit. After MXN 55.17 of IVA that you remit, fees come to MXN 116.91 on MXN 344.83 of revenue kept.
Referral fee: the page quotes the percentage and the 8 peso minimum with IVA included and applies them per product. Several categories change rate at a price: Toys and Games pay 8% for a total of 300 pesos or less and 15% above, so 300 pesos costs MXN 24.00 (the minimum applies) and 300.01 pesos costs MXN 45.00; Beauty and Health and Personal Care pay 12% up to 200 pesos and 15% above; Grocery and Gourmet pay 12% up to 500 pesos. Electronic Accessories pay 15% of the first 2,000 pesos and 8% of the rest, so 3,000 pesos costs MXN 380.00; Watches use 16% up to 5,000 pesos and 5% above.
FBA fee: the table (updated 4 June 2026) gives a fee per size and weight row in four price bands: under 150, 150 to under 299, 299 to under 499, and 499 or more pesos. Health and Personal Care, Grocery and Gourmet and Alcoholic Beverages use a separate, cheaper table for low-priced items: the same 400 peso, 0.45 kg standard item costs MXN 54.00 in the general table and MXN 14.90 in that one. Above 1 kg on Standard the page lists a base fee plus a charge per extra 0.25 kg; for Large it lists a per-0.5 kg charge and the cumulative fee at 50 kg and 100 kg. The page does not say how partial steps round, so the tool counts each started step. The shipping weight is the larger of unit and dimensional weight, and the page does not state the dimensional divisor, so you enter the weight.
Storage and plan: storage is billed per cubic decimetre per month on average daily volume: 0.36 pesos January to September and 0.53 pesos October to December for envelope and standard sizes, 0.19 and 0.43 pesos for large. The Professional plan is free for the first 12 months, then 75 pesos a month for sellers with under 26,000 pesos of sales the previous month or 600 pesos a month at 26,000 pesos or more. Aged-inventory surcharges from 181 days are not modelled.

Is the Amazon Mexico referral fee charged on a price with IVA?
Yes. The page headings say the referral percentages and the minimum are quoted with IVA included, and that the total sales price is what the buyer pays including item price, shipping, gift wrap and the applicable IVA. The tool therefore uses the IVA-inclusive total as the base.
What is the minimum referral fee on Amazon.com.mx?
Most categories have an 8 peso minimum per product, charged when it is higher than the percentage fee. The page gives an example: five products at 50 pesos each in Sports, each with an 8 peso minimum, pay 40 pesos in total.
How is the FBA fee chosen?
By size class, shipping weight and the item's price band. Prices are compared with 150, 299 and 499 pesos; the fee for an item at exactly 150 pesos uses the 150-to-under-299 column. Health and Personal Care, Grocery and Gourmet and Alcoholic Beverages use a different table.
How much is the Amazon Mexico monthly fee?

Does the tool convert dimensions to dimensional weight?
No. The page says shipping weight is the larger of unit or dimensional weight but does not publish the divisor, so you enter the shipping weight yourself. Packaging weight no longer counts, according to the page.
