What this can and cannot know
This page reads JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and TIFF headers for dimensions, file size, format and animation. Shopify and Etsy also accept some SVG, HEIC and PSD files; the checker identifies those accepted extensions as a manual review because it does not decode them. It cannot see whether the product is accurately represented, whether an Amazon main image has a pure-white background, whether a photo contains promotional text, or whether an Etsy crop looks good. Those remain manual reviews.

Frequently asked questions
Will a pass guarantee approval?
No. Technical headers are only one part of marketplace image review. Content, product category and account policy still matter.
Does this send my photos anywhere?
No. There is no API, upload, storage or analytics code on this file-processing route.
