The rules this checks
- Title [title]: plain text, maximum 150 characters.
- Description [description]: plain text, maximum 5,000 characters.
- Over the limit: Google’s Merchant Center help says a title that is too long will be truncated to fit and you will receive a warning.
- Not covered: this counter does not check policy, prohibited content, or how much of a title shows in an ad or listing, which Google does not publish as a fixed number. For whole-feed checks use the Merchant feed validator.
