Worked example

$160 sale, Grailed Label, Stripe US processing. Commission: 9% x $160 = $14.40. Processing: 3.49% x $160 + $0.49 = $6.07. Fees total $20.47, so you receive $139.53. Profit with $80 item cost, $1 supplies and $12 shipping you pay: $46.53. On a $20 sale the reduced 6% would be $1.20, so the $1.99 minimum applies. To make $30 profit on a $50 item with the same $12 shipping and $1 supplies, list at $103.29.

How it works

Commission. Grailed's fee page lists a Standard 9% for sales of $120 and above and a Reduced 6% (minimum $1.99) under $120, applicable to sales on or after 20 May 2026, and notes that promotional rates may apply. The sale price is the listing price plus any shipping you charge the buyer if you are not using a Grailed Label; with a Grailed Label it is the listing price only. Pick the label option that matches your sale.

Payment processing is separate. Grailed's processing page lists, when onboarded with Stripe, 3.49% + $0.49 for US domestic payments and 4.99% + $0.49 for international payments; if your country is Stripe-supported but you are not onboarded, 3.49% + $0.99 and 5.49% + $0.99; and a default of 4.99% + $0.49 outside Stripe-eligible countries. The page does not say which amount the percentage applies to, so this tool applies it to the sale price defined above. Edit the rates to match what your payout statement shows.

Profit = sale price (and shipping charged, if any) - commission - processing - item cost - supplies - shipping you pay. Because the commission drops from 9% to a lower rate below $120, a sale just under $120 can pay less commission than one at $120. Reverse mode checks both bands and returns the lowest whole-cent price that reaches your target profit.

Limits

Grailed can change fees at any time and says so on its processing page. Taxes, international duties, Grailed-run promotions and your 1099-K reporting are outside this tool. The processing base is an assumption stated above. Not tax or financial advice.

FAQ

What are Grailed's seller fees?

A commission of 9% on sales of $120 and above and a reduced 6% (minimum $1.99) under $120, plus a separate payment processing fee. Buyers do not pay Grailed a fee according to its fee page.

Is Grailed payment processing included in the commission?

No. The fee page says the commission is separate from a payment processing fee, which the processing page puts at 3.49% + $0.49 for US domestic payments when you are onboarded with Stripe.

Does the Grailed commission include shipping?

Only if you do not use a Grailed Label. The sale price is the listing price plus any shipping you charge the buyer, unless you use a Grailed Label, in which case it is the listing price only.

Why is the commission lower under $120?

Grailed lists a reduced 6% rate, with a $1.99 minimum, for sales under $120 (for sales on or after 20 May 2026) and a standard 9% from $120. Listing at $119 instead of $120 can therefore cut the commission, though you receive less in total.
