PEGNL register lookup.

Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) publishes a Public Register. This page explains what you can search and links you to it. It does not search for you.

Short answer: the official place to check is the PEGNL Public Register. Open it, search by name or member number, and read the status on the record.

Why check Newfoundland and Labrador engineer or geoscientist registration

People check the register before signing a contract with a consultant or contractor who advertises engineering or geoscience services, before relying on a stamped drawing or report, and when a firm says it holds a Certificate of Authorization or permit. Match the name, the member or licence number and the status to the document in front of you. Our P.Eng vs EIT and stamp guide explains why a title or stamp alone is not proof, and the province finder links every regulator we cover.

Guide only — not a verification tool

This page is a guide to a public register run by the regulator. It does not look up, scrape, store or transmit anyone’s details, and it cannot confirm a licence on its own. Only the regulator’s register, or the regulator itself, can tell you whether someone is currently licensed.
