APEGS register lookup.

The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) publishes the Register of Engineers and Geoscientists. This page explains how to use it and links you to it. It does not search for you.

Short answer: the official place to check is the APEGS Register of Engineers and Geoscientists. Open it, search by name or member number, and read the status on the record.

Why check Saskatchewan engineer or geoscientist registration

People check the register before signing a contract with a consultant or contractor who advertises engineering or geoscience services, before relying on a stamped drawing or report, and when a firm says it holds a Certificate of Authorization or permit. Match the name, the member or licence number and the status to the document in front of you. Our P.Eng vs EIT and stamp guide explains why a title or stamp alone is not proof, and the province finder links every regulator we cover.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the APEGS member search?

The public search is the Register of Engineers and Geoscientists at register.apegs.ca, linked from the APEGS website.

Why can’t I find an engineer in the APEGS register?

APEGS says a search only matches data as the member provided it, so a different spelling or a nickname can miss them. Try variants, then contact APEGS.

Does the APEGS register cover companies?

Yes. APEGS says to enter the full company name for Certificates of Authorization.

Guide only — not a verification tool

This page is a guide to a public register run by the regulator. It does not look up, scrape, store or transmit anyone’s details, and it cannot confirm a licence on its own. Only the regulator’s register, or the regulator itself, can tell you whether someone is currently licensed.
