Marketplace comparison
Walmart vs Amazon fees, for one product.
Walmart fees come from Walmart's published schedule. Amazon fees are the figures you enter from your own Seller Central estimate.
Estimate from published rates
Rates are copied from Walmart Marketplace Learn (retrieved 2026-10) and can change. Your Seller Center statements are authoritative. Nothing you enter leaves your browser, and this tool is not affiliated with Walmart.

Method and sources
Method: for each marketplace, fees = referral + fulfillment + storage; profit = price − fees − product cost − ads. Walmart numbers use the same engine as the Walmart profit calculator. We do not publish Amazon rates here because they vary by SKU, size tier and season: take them from Amazon Seller Central.

FAQ
Which marketplace has lower seller fees, Walmart or Amazon?
It changes by category, price and package size. Walmart's referral rate ranges from 2.35% to 20% depending on category and price band; compare with your own Amazon fee preview for the same product.
Where do the Amazon numbers come from?
You enter them. Amazon fees vary by SKU, size tier and time of year, so this tool does not hard-code them. See the Amazon FBA calculator for a fuller Amazon model.
Is the comparison apples to apples?
It holds price, product cost and ad spend equal on both sides so only marketplace fees differ. It ignores sales volume, buy box dynamics, account fees and returns.
Does Walmart charge extra for WFS?
WFS fulfillment and storage are separate from the referral fee on Walmart's cost estimator, and this tool includes all of them on the Walmart side.
Can I use it for Walmart Canada?
No. Use the Walmart Canada fees calculator, which uses Walmart's separate Canadian schedule in CAD.
