Super visa insurance cost calculator.
Enter the quotes you actually received and see the full first-year cost: premiums, IRCC fees, and what each instalment works out to.
No official super visa premium table exists. IRCC sets the minimum ($100,000 emergency coverage, valid 1 year from entry) but insurers set the price, so this calculator does not guess one. It adds up your quotes and the government fees: a $100 super visa fee and an $85 biometrics fee per person.

What actually decides your premium
IRCC does not publish insurance prices, and no government source gives a rate by age. What IRCC does publish is the floor every policy must clear: at least $100,000 in emergency coverage, valid for a minimum of 1 year from the date of entry, covering health care, hospitalization and repatriation, from a Canadian insurer or an OSFI-listed foreign one, and paid in full or in instalments with a deposit. Anything below that is not a super visa policy, however cheap.
Because insurers price each applicant individually, the only reliable number is a written quote for the exact person, coverage amount, deductible and dates. Collect two or three quotes, enter them above, and compare the first-year total including the $100 super visa fee and $85 biometrics fee per person.
Before you pay, run the policy wording through the super visa insurance requirements checker.

Frequently asked questions
How much does super visa insurance cost?
IRCC publishes no price table, so there is no official figure. Insurers price each applicant by age, health, coverage amount and deductible. Get written quotes for the exact people and dates, then total them here with the $100 super visa fee and $85 biometrics fee per person.
What is the minimum super visa insurance coverage?
At least $100,000 of emergency coverage, valid for a minimum of 1 year from the date of entry, covering health care, hospitalization and repatriation (IRCC, forms and documents page).
Can I pay for super visa insurance monthly?
IRCC accepts a policy that is paid in full or in instalments with a deposit. A quote alone is not accepted as proof.
Does this calculator include the medical exam?
No. The immigration medical exam with an approved panel physician is a separate cost that varies, so it is left out rather than guessed.
