Super visa insurance requirements checker.
Type in what your policy says. We test it against the requirements IRCC publishes, line by line.
IRCC requires at least $100,000 in emergency coverage, valid at least 1 year from the date of entry, covering health care, hospitalization and repatriation, from a Canadian insurer (or an OSFI-listed foreign one), paid in full or in instalments with a deposit. A quote is not accepted.

What IRCC says a super visa policy must do
IRCC's list: valid for a minimum of 1 year from the date of entry; minimum emergency coverage of $100,000; covers the applicant's health care, hospitalization and repatriation; paid in full or in instalments with a deposit (quotes are not accepted); available for review by border services officers on request; and valid on each entry to Canada. The insurer must be a Canadian company, or a foreign company that is OSFI-authorized for accident and sickness insurance and appears on OSFI's list. If the policy will expire before you leave, IRCC says to renew it.
This checker only tests what you type. It cannot read your policy or confirm an insurer's OSFI status; use OSFI's list for that. When you are ready to compare prices, use the cost calculator.
