FBA carton limits, before pickup.
Check a packed carton against Amazon’s current U.S. FBA size and weight rules. Single oversized items are flagged for review instead of being given a false pass.
Standard U.S. FBA carton: no more than 36 × 25 × 25 inches and 50 lb. Jewellery and watch cartons have a 40 lb limit.

Rules this checker applies
| Carton | Published rule | Tool result |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary carton | Maximum 36 inches long, 25 inches wide, 25 inches high; maximum 50 lb. | Pass or fail |
| Jewellery or watches | Maximum 40 lb; the ordinary dimensional limit still applies. | Pass or fail |
| One oversized/heavy item | An exception can apply only when the single item itself exceeds the ordinary dimension or weight threshold. | Manual review when the entered facts could qualify |
| Heavy labels | Over 50 lb: Team Lift. Over 100 lb: Mechanical Lift. Labels go on the top and sides. | Label reminder |
Amazon also says a rigid six-sided box with intact flaps is required, every carton needs its own FBA Box ID label, and accurate box dimensions and weight must be supplied. A carton of at least 6 × 4 × 1 inches and at least 1 lb can reduce receiving delays; those are recommendations, not the maximum limits.

Confirm the shipment in Seller Central before sending it. Amazon can apply product-, carrier-, dangerous-goods-, pallet-, or destination-specific requirements that dimensions alone cannot test.
