What the College publishes

The College describes the page as the public register of denturists registered with the College, with a Name of Denturist search field. The page read for this guide does not list other fields, so this guide does not either.

The College’s fees and renewal dates page states:

  • The deadline for renewing a Certificate of Registration, including payment of at least the first installment of the renewal fee, is March 31.
  • Online renewal begins February 15 each year.
  • The second installment is due September 1.
  • A $150.00 late penalty fee is applied to renewals (or payments) received after the deadline.

The page does not define the registration year. Confirm amounts and dates on the College’s page.

Why you’d check a denturist

People check the register when choosing a clinic, when a denture provider is new to them, or when a name on a quote or treatment record needs confirming. The College of Denturists is the regulator that publishes the register.

Denturist or dentist?

These are separate professions with separate regulators. A dentist is on the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario register; a denturist is on the College of Denturists’ register. If a name does not appear in one, the other may be the right place to look.

Before you search

Installments and the deadline

The College lets members pay in installments, but the March 31 deadline requires at least the first installment. Whether a member has met the requirement is a status question for the register, not this page.

What a register result can and cannot tell you

A register entry reflects what the regulator holds on the date you look. It does not rate quality of work, and it is not a recommendation. If something looks wrong or out of date, contact the regulator.
