Method and official scope

Amazon defines order defect rate as orders with one or more defects divided by orders in the applicable period; cancellation rate as seller-cancelled orders divided by orders; late shipment rate as late-confirmed shipments divided by shipped orders; valid tracking rate as shipments with valid tracking divided by eligible shipments; and on-time delivery as units delivered by the promised date divided by units with a delivery scan. Several metrics use different windows and eligibility rules, so do not reuse one denominator across every field.
