Amazon Ads · private local report

Search-term sales, after ad spend.

Open a Sponsored Products search term report and apply only the product-cost, marketplace-fee and other variable-cost percentages you enter.

Estimated contribution = attributed sales × retained percentage − spend. ACOS is spend ÷ attributed sales; ROAS is attributed sales ÷ spend. The report stays in this tab.

How to analyse a search term report

  1. Download a Sponsored Products search term report as a CSV.
  2. Enter your product cost, marketplace fees and other variable costs as percentages of sales.
  3. Choose the currency and press Analyze local report.
  4. Review ACOS, ROAS and the contribution estimate for each search term.

Reading the numbers

The analyser groups duplicate customer search terms and totals spend, attributed sales, orders, clicks and impressions. ACOS is advertising spend divided by attributed sales, and ROAS is the inverse. Either one tells you only how efficient the advertising was, not whether you made money. The contribution estimate subtracts the cost percentages that you provide from sales and then subtracts ad spend.

Because those percentages are yours, the result is only as good as they are. It is not accounting profit: fixed overhead, returns and taxes are excluded. Use it to find search terms that spend more than they contribute and terms worth bidding up, then verify the decision in your own books. The report recognises both 7-day and 14-day attribution headings.

Your advertising data stays local

The analyser runs in your browser, inside an isolated frame on this page that has no network access. Your file is read and written back by your own device, so it is not uploaded to TNAADO or anyone else, and nothing is stored. The advertising on this page sits outside the frame and cannot see what you choose. Search terms and spend are competitive information and are not uploaded.

Method and limits

The analyzer groups duplicate customer search terms, then totals report spend, attributed sales, orders, clicks and impressions. It recognizes 7-day or 14-day attributed sales/order headings. The result is not accounting profit: product cost, marketplace fees and other variable costs are percentages supplied by you, and fixed overhead, returns and taxes are excluded.

Amazon says the report includes terms with at least one ad click and has a 65-day lookback. Attribution windows and columns can vary; use the report heading shown in your export.

Private by design

The selected CSV is parsed locally. No rows, search terms or economics leave the browser, and the isolated tool frame executes no ads, analytics, AI or third-party code.
