How the AWD costs are worked out
Storage. Amazon's table lists a monthly storage rate per cubic foot: $0.57 West Coast (including West Coast Palletizable) and $0.48 East Coast, South East and South Central at the base rate. Smart Storage is listed 10% lower ($0.51 and $0.43) and the Amazon managed rate 20% lower ($0.46 and $0.38). Storage = cubic feet x months x the rate you pick.
Processing. Inbound processing is listed at $1.40 per box in every region except West Coast Palletizable, which is $1.05 per box. Outbound processing is $1.40 per box. The calculator multiplies each by the number of boxes.
Transportation. Transportation is listed at $1.40 per cubic foot, or $1.26 at the Amazon managed rate. Enter the cubic feet you ship out of AWD to FBA or elsewhere.
Enrollment. The page says there is no fee to enrol in AWD; you pay only when you send inventory to AWD facilities.
