About this lowercase converter
The converter changes every capital letter to its small form and leaves digits, punctuation and spaces unchanged. It is the quick fix for text typed with Caps Lock on, email lists you want to compare, tags, and file or column names that must be lowercase.
Lowercase is not sentence case
Lowercase removes every capital, including the first letter of sentences and names. To keep sentence starts capitalized, use the sentence case converter.
Turkish capital İ
By default the capital İ (I with a dot) lowercases to i followed by a combining dot, which is how Unicode's language-neutral rule works. Choose Turkish or Azerbaijani under Language rules to get a plain i, and to turn I into the dotless ı.
