Worked example
The February 2026 benefit is paid on Friday, January 30, 2026. January 31 fell on a Saturday, so the last business day of January was the 30th. The June 2026 benefit follows the same pattern: May 31 was a Sunday, so payment is Friday, May 29.
The October 2026 benefit is published as September 29, a day before the end of September. Ontario.ca does not say why, so rely on the published date rather than working it out yourself.
How the date is set
Ontario.ca states: "Ontario Works issues income support payments monthly. To help you get your income support for the beginning of each month, payments are on the last business day of the previous month." This tool shows the dates copied from that table. It does not predict dates outside it, and it cannot confirm that your own payment was issued, your amount, or your bank's posting time.
Reports and deadlines. The published payment table gives no income-reporting due dates. Your caseworker sets those, so confirm them with your Ontario Works office before you rely on any date.

Is the date the same as when the money shows in my account?
Not necessarily. This is the issue date. Direct deposit timing depends on your bank.
