How it works

On-device: a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg strips the video track and encodes the audio to MP3 inside your browser tab. Your file is never uploaded anywhere.
Bitrate: 128kbps is fine for speech and most music; go to 192kbps+ for music you care about.
Any container: works on MP4, WebM, MOV and MKV — whatever format the video is in.

Free vs Premium

The free tier extracts one file at a time, capped at 100MB / 10 minutes and 128kbps. Premium removes the cap entirely: batch up to 10 files per run, up to 2GB / 3 hours each, at up to 320kbps.
