Choose a video and press Compress. The first run downloads the compression engine (a few MB) and is the slowest.

How it works

On-device: a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg runs the whole compression inside your browser tab. Your video is never uploaded anywhere.
Compression level: controls the encoder's quality target (CRF). 70–80% is a good default for sharing; go lower for a much smaller file when quality matters less.
Output: an H.264 MP4 with AAC audio, the format that plays everywhere.

Free vs Premium

The free tier compresses one video at a time, caps input at 80MB / 2 minutes, and downsizes anything wider than 1280px. Premium removes all three limits: batch up to 5 videos per run, up to 400MB / 15 minutes each, and your source resolution is kept exactly as uploaded.
