One net price, 27 consumer prices
When destination-country VAT applies to your cross-border B2C sales, the VAT-inclusive price a consumer sees differs by country even if your net price is the same. This table multiplies your net price by one plus each Member State's standard rate and lists the gross amount. Choose a rounding rule to see a shelf price such as 59.99 and the net you keep after rounding, which is the rounded price divided by one plus the rate.
Using it for a price list
Many shops either charge one VAT-inclusive price everywhere (so the net varies by country) or one net price (so the gross varies). The last two columns show both effects. Decide which approach you use before you publish prices.
This is a planning estimate using standard rates, not tax advice and not an official determination. Reduced rates, exemptions, goods subject to excise duty, B2B reverse charge and place-of-supply rules can change the result. Confirm with your tax authority or adviser.

Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate a VAT-inclusive price for another EU country?
Multiply the net price by one plus that country's VAT rate, for example 49 x 1.27 for Hungary's 27% standard rate. The table does this for all 27 Member States.
What is the net I keep after rounding?
The rounded VAT-inclusive price divided by one plus the country's rate. Rounding up raises it slightly and rounding down lowers it.
Are these the right rates for my product?
They are standard rates. Reduced rates depend on the product and the country, so check the rate for your goods before publishing prices.
When does destination VAT apply?
Once your cross-border B2C sales exceed the single EUR 10,000 EU threshold, or you opt for the general rules, according to the European Commission's One Stop Shop guidance.
