This is the encoded audio payload estimate: seconds × kilobits per second ÷ 8. Container metadata, ID3 tags, artwork, encoder padding, and VBR behavior can move the exported file slightly.
Apple says its RSS guidance accepts MP3 or AAC and recommends 64–128 kbps mono or 128–256 kbps stereo at 44.1/48 kHz. Pick the lower end only if the voice still sounds clean after an actual listen.
