Instagram · grid or carousel · local
You choose the geometry. The browser cuts it.
Split one JPG, PNG or WebP into your own rows and columns. Keep each source cell’s exact pixels or set a uniform output width and height for every tile.
How to split an image into a grid or carousel
- Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image of up to 25 MB and 40 megapixels.
- Enter the number of rows and columns.
- Optionally set an output width and height so every tile comes out the same size.
- Pick JPG or PNG and press Split image. Download the tiles in order.
You choose the geometry
Instagram changes its feed and profile layouts from time to time, so this tool does not hard-code any ratio. A single row produces a left-to-right carousel sequence. Several rows produce a grid that is numbered left to right, then top to bottom. To keep every tile identical in size, enter an output width and height; otherwise each tile keeps the exact pixels of its slice of the source.
If the source does not divide evenly, every pixel still lands in exactly one tile, and neighbouring tiles may differ by a single pixel. Plan your design on a canvas whose dimensions divide neatly to avoid that. JPG tiles use a white background, while PNG keeps transparency. The combined tile output is limited to 40 megapixels.
Private splitting
The splitter runs in your browser, inside an isolated frame on this page that has no network access. Your file is read and written back by your own device, so it is not uploaded to TNAADO or anyone else, and nothing is stored. The advertising on this page sits outside the frame and cannot see what you choose. Unreleased campaign images are not uploaded.
No hard-coded Instagram crop assumptions
This tool does not guess a current feed, profile-grid or carousel aspect ratio. You control the rows, columns and optional output pixels. A one-row split produces a left-to-right carousel sequence; multiple rows are numbered left-to-right, then top-to-bottom.
If the source dimensions do not divide evenly, every source pixel still belongs to exactly one tile. Adjacent source cells can differ by one pixel. Enter an output width and height when every exported tile must have identical dimensions. The combined requested output is capped at 40 megapixels before any tile canvas is allocated.
Frequently asked questions
Does this post to Instagram or choose the order?
No. It creates numbered local files only. You choose the upload order and confirm the final crop in Instagram.
Are the slices uploaded or stored?
No. Canvas cuts and encodes every tile in this browser tab. Object URLs are revoked when you reset or replace the result.
Geometry, not platform approval
Instagram can change display and upload behaviour. Review the numbered files in the current Instagram composer before publishing.
