Manitoba Education publishes a public Registry of Certified Teachers and School Clinicians. It reports certificate status and any suspension, cancellation, limitation or condition.
Short answer: Use Manitoba’s public registry, linked from the Education page below; it is searched by name.
What the Manitoba registry shows
Manitoba describes the registry as a public online search tool that “provides information about certificate holders, including the status of their certificate and any records of suspension or cancellation of the certificate or of any current limitations or conditions imposed on it.”
If you cannot find someone, the page gives three reasons: the name was entered incorrectly or is not the legal name, the person is not a certified teacher or clinician, or they are still applying for a certificate.
