Manitoba engineer directory lookup.
Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM) runs the public Member and Company Directory for Manitoba. This page explains what it covers and links you to it. It does not search for you.
Short answer: the official place to check is the Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba Member and Company Directory. Open it, search by name or member number, and read the status on the record.
What the EGM Member and Company Directory covers
- EGM says only licensed individuals and companies may practise engineering or geoscience in Manitoba, and that only EGM can grant licences.
- The practitioner types you can filter by are P.Eng., P.Geo., Engineering Intern (EIT), Geoscience Intern (GIT), Engineering Licensee (Eng.L.) and Geoscience Licensee (Geo.L.).
- A checkbox includes the company directory, and you search by the first letter of the last name or company name.
- EGM states it cannot guarantee the directory’s accuracy and tells you to contact the Association to confirm whether someone is licensed. Records closed before 1995 may not be included.
- EGM allows the directory for research purposes only, not compiled or reproduced in any form without written permission.
Check a registrant in Manitoba
- Open the EGM directory using the button above.

- Open the record and read the licence type.
- Because EGM does not guarantee accuracy, confirm important cases directly with the Association.
Why check Manitoba engineer or geoscientist registration
People check the register before signing a contract with a consultant or contractor who advertises engineering or geoscience services, before relying on a stamped drawing or report, and when a firm says it holds a Certificate of Authorization or permit. Match the name, the member or licence number and the status to the document in front of you. Our P.Eng vs EIT and stamp guide explains why a title or stamp alone is not proof, and the province finder links every regulator we cover.

Is the Manitoba directory guaranteed accurate?
EGM says it regularly updates the directory but cannot guarantee accuracy, so contact the Association to confirm anything you are relying on.
Guide only — not a verification tool
This page is a guide to a public register run by the regulator. It does not look up, scrape, store or transmit anyone’s details, and it cannot confirm a licence on its own. Only the regulator’s register, or the regulator itself, can tell you whether someone is currently licensed.
