How Shopee Singapore charges sellers
Four fee types. Shopee Singapore's seller-fees article lists commission fees, transaction fees, service fees and shipping fees. Commission and transaction fees apply to every local seller; service fees apply only to sellers in programmes such as the Promo Xtra Programme (PXP), which replaced the Coins Cashback Programme on 18 May 2026.
Commission. A GST-inclusive percentage of the product price after seller-sponsored discounts and vouchers. The rate depends on whether you are a Mall or non-Mall seller, on your category, and on whether you are on PXP. Several categories have a cap per item: electronics for non-Mall sellers cap at S$60 (S$120 for Mall sellers), furniture, bathroom and bedding at S$60 for non-Mall sellers, and from 19 October 2026 shoes, bags and watches for non-Mall sellers cap at S$300. This calculator applies the caps per item and multiplies by quantity.
Transaction fee. 3.27% (GST inclusive) of the final payment amount, which includes the shipping the buyer pays, rounded up to the nearest cent. SPayLater orders carry a higher rate of up to 6.54% that this calculator does not model.
New sellers. Shopee waives commission for the first 120 days from your seller activity. Use the waiver option to see the 0% case; the transaction fee still applies.
PXP service fee. Shopee's article says the service fee is a percentage of cost of goods sold by category, while its worked example applies 5.45% to the gross settlement. This calculator follows the worked example. Read your own rate in Seller Centre and type it in.
Worked examples
A S$100.00 item in the "all other non-electronics" group, non-Mall, not on PXP: commission 14.17% = S$14.17, transaction fee 3.27% = S$3.27, payout S$82.56, effective rate 17.44%. A S$1,000.00 phone from a non-Mall seller not on PXP would be 11.99% = S$119.90 before the S$60 cap, so commission is S$60.00, and the whole fee bill is S$92.70, an effective rate of 9.27%.
Limits of this calculator
It covers local Singapore sellers and the rates in Shopee's tables effective from 28 August 2026; it does not model SPayLater, campaign-day service fees, overseas sellers, or other categories not listed in the table. Use "All other" when your sub-category is not named. Shopee can change rates, so confirm against My Income › My Tax Invoices in Seller Centre.
