Average views per post.
There is no official average for an account size. Measure your own median and spread from recent posts, or set clearly labelled scenario ratios to see what a follower count could imply.
Use your median, not your mean. Paste 10 to 20 recent view counts and the tool returns your median, mean and spread. The follower-ratio scenarios are placeholders you set; they are not measured averages.

Worked example
Twelve recent posts got 420, 380, 510, 295, 1,900, 450, 330, 610, 48, 7,200, 405 and 360 views. The median is 413 views (412.5 exactly) while the mean is 1,076, about 2.61 times higher, because two posts did far better than the rest. The lowest was 48 and the highest 7,200. One of 12 posts, 8.3%, reached 5 times the median. The spread of log views (sigma) comes to about 1.17, which you can carry into the clip views scenario model.
For an account with 5,000 followers, the scenario ratios of 5%, 20% and 50% give medians of 250, 1,000 and 2,500 views. Those ratios are made-up placeholders to show how a follower count turns into a number. The sample data above is also invented, to demonstrate the arithmetic; it is not an average for any account.
Results vary. This page is arithmetic on the assumptions you enter. It is not a forecast, offer or guarantee of what any campaign, platform or account will pay, and it cannot say how many views a clip will get.
How it works
Why no table of averages? Views per post depend on the platform, niche, posting history, format and luck, so any single table of averages by follower count would be a guess. So this page gives you a method instead.
How to measure: list the view counts of 10 to 20 recent posts of the same kind, wait until their views have settled (a day or two for most short clips), and paste them in. The median is the middle value when sorted; half your posts do better and half worse. The mean is the total divided by the count and gets dragged up by outliers. The breakout rate is the share of posts at or above a multiple of your median, and sigma is the standard deviation of the log of the views.
Methodology
Median: middle of the sorted list, or the average of the two middle values. Mean: sum / count. Sigma: sample standard deviation of ln(views) over posts with at least one view. Breakout rate: posts at or above (multiple x median) / posts. Scenario medians: followers x ratio / 100 for each of the three ratios you type. Ten to twenty posts is a small sample: one more viral post can move the mean a lot and the median a little. Do not mix formats (for example long videos and Shorts) in the same list.
What this does not cover
- Any real average views per post for an account size. We found no authoritative source, so none is claimed.
- Future performance. Past views describe past posts only.
- Views from paid promotion, which should be left out of the list.
- Differences between platforms, which should be measured separately.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent or stored.

FAQ
What is the average views per TikTok post?
We found no official figure for an account size, and it varies by niche and format. Measure your own median from 10 to 20 recent posts instead of relying on a published average.
Should I use the median or the mean?
The median. A few viral posts inflate the mean, so the median is closer to what a typical post gets.
Are the follower ratios real averages?
No. They are labelled scenarios with editable numbers so you can see what a follower count might imply; replace them with your own measured ratio.
How many posts do I need?
At least 10, ideally 20 of the same kind. With fewer, one outlier can change the picture, and the tool warns that the estimate is rough.
