Texas real estate license lookup with TREC.

The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) runs a License Holder Search that covers real estate brokers and sales agents and several other licence types. This page explains it and links you to it.

Short answer: open TREC’s License Holder Search, enter a name or licence number, and choose the licence type. This page does not look anyone up.

How do I verify a Texas real estate agent?

Does the same search cover home inspectors?

The search form lists Inspector as a licence type, so you can select it to look up an inspector licensed by TREC.

Where do I find disciplinary actions?

TREC’s site lists Disciplinary Actions under Public Consumer Information.

Does this page confirm a licence?

No. It links to TREC’s search. Only TREC’s result counts.

Guide only — not a verification tool

This page describes official registers and links to them. It does not check anyone’s licence status, does not copy or proxy any register, and nothing you might type here is transmitted anywhere. Registers change and licensing rules differ by state and city; use the official source linked above and contact the regulator to confirm anything that matters. This is general information, not legal advice.
