EBT balance by state.
Official EBT balance websites, customer service numbers, and SNAP and application pages for every state, linked straight from the USDA directory.
You can check an EBT balance on your receipt, by calling the number on the back of your card, or on your state EBT website. Each state uses a different provider; the table lists the official site and phone number for yours.
Find your state
Never enter your card number here
Check your balance only on the website printed on your card, on your state's EBT site, or by calling the number on the back of your card.
EBT and SNAP portals by state
New York City residents use New York State's EBT line above. For the U.S. Virgin Islands, use the contact in the USDA SNAP State Directory.
How to check your EBT balance
Three ways work in every state: read the balance printed on your last receipt, call the customer service number on the back of your card, or sign in to your state's EBT cardholder website or app. The table above lists the site and customer service number each state publishes in the USDA directory. This page links to the official sites only. It does not look up balances, store card numbers or ask for any account details.
Phone numbers and web addresses are copied from the USDA SNAP State Directory as listed on October 15, 2026; if one fails, use the number on your card and the directory.
Keep your card details private
Only your state agency or the EBT provider named on your card should handle your card number and PIN. Do not type them into any other website.

Frequently asked questions
How do I check my EBT card balance?
Use your last receipt, call the customer service number on the back of the card, or sign in on your state EBT website or app. The table lists the official site and number for each state.
Is there one national EBT balance number?
No. Each state contracts its own EBT provider, so the number and site differ by state.
Can this page show my balance?
No. It only links to official sites and never asks for a card number or PIN.
Where do I apply for SNAP?
Through your state agency. The Apply column links to each state portal where one is listed in the USDA directory.
What if my state link does not work?
Use the number printed on your card and the USDA SNAP State Directory, which USDA keeps up to date.
Estimate, not an eligibility decision
This page applies published USDA figures in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. It is educational and does not replace an application with your state SNAP agency, which makes the actual determination.
