Over 70 kg or over 100 cm
DHL says individual pieces weighing more than 70 kg must be packed in a fork-movable crate or securely loaded on to a pallet, and be stackable. Additional surcharges apply to any piece, including a pallet, that exceeds 70 kg on the scale or has a single dimension over 100 cm. The checker flags this when it applies.
Pallets
Express Worldwide accepts pallets up to 1,000 kg and 300 × 200 × 160 cm; Economy Select up to 1,000 kg and 300 × 200 × 180 cm. Express 12:00 and 9:00 do not accept pallets. Pallets are not checked by this tool.
How the size check works
DHL prints maximum length × width × height. The checker sorts your measurements and compares the longest to the longest, so the order you type them does not matter. Weight and size are checked per piece; piece count and total weight are checked for the shipment, using actual weight. Packaging must meet DHL packing standards, and DHL can refuse a shipment with inadequate packaging.
What it does not cover
DHL Parcel, DHL eCommerce and DHL Freight have different limits. Country-specific rules, prohibited goods and customs are outside this tool.
