What the checks mean

YouTube’s help page says to make the first timestamp 00:00, list at least three timestamps in ascending order, and keep each chapter at least 10 seconds long. This tool applies exactly those rules. Timestamps at or past the video length, and a missing chapter title, are extra sanity checks (titles are advisory only).

A pass confirms the format only. It does not guarantee chapters will display: YouTube notes that the feature depends on your channel’s access and status. Once any chapter reaches one hour, the clean block uses h:mm:ss for every line.
