Manitoba · Real Estate & Mortgage Registration
Manitoba real estate registrant search.
Manitoba’s Real Estate Division registers real estate brokers, salespersons and mortgage brokers and runs a public registrant search. This page explains how that search works and links you to it.
Short answer: use the official Real Estate Division “Search Registrants” tool. This page does not query it and cannot confirm a registration.
How the Manitoba search works
The Real Estate Division says its Search Registrants tool finds brokers and individuals licensed in Manitoba. Results give the category of registration and, for an active registrant, the name of the employing broker. To list everything, the Division says to enter % (without quotation marks) in either search field.
Manitoba’s regulator materials use two names: the Division’s pages are branded The Manitoba Securities Commission, and the Manitoba Financial Services Agency describes the same Real Estate Division. This page follows the Division’s own wording.
Open the Manitoba registrant search
Start from the Division’s Search Registrants page, which links to the live database. Consumer guidance from the province also points to the Division’s hearings and proceedings page for current disciplinary matters.
When to check a Manitoba registration
Typical reasons: before signing an agreement with a realtor, confirming a salesperson’s employing brokerage, or checking a mortgage broker before submitting documents.
Why a search can mislead
A trade name may differ from the registered legal name, so try the brokerage’s legal name as well. The registry does not replace the hearings page for pending discipline.
