What a Vinted seller receives, what the buyer pays with the Vinted fee, and profit. Rates are editable and everything runs in your browser.

Vinted says there are no fees for uploading or selling items, so a seller receives the full selling price. The buyer pays a separate Vinted fee, usually 5% + $0.70: on a $40 item that is $2.70, for a buyer total of $42.70. With $10 item cost and $1 supplies your profit is $29.00.

Worked example

$40 item, $10 item cost, $1 supplies, no shipping paid by you. Seller fee: $0.00, so you receive $40.00 and profit is $40 - $10 - $1 = $29.00, a 263.64% return on the $11 you put in. The buyer's Vinted fee is 5% x $40 + $0.70 = $2.70, so the buyer pays $42.70 before shipping. To make $15 profit on the same costs, list at $26.00.

How it works

Seller payout = selling price. Vinted's help page "Is selling on Vinted free?" says there are no fees for uploading your items or selling them, and that once the sale closes you receive the full selling price into your Vinted Wallet. The seller fee field starts at 0 so you can test a fee if the rules change or apply to your account.

Buyer total = price + (percent x price + fixed fee). The Vinted fee page says the fee is mandatory, paid at checkout, varies with item characteristics, order value and whether it is a single item or bundle, and typically includes a percentage plus a fixed fee, "usually 5% + $0.70". Because it can differ, both parts are editable. It is shown so you can see what a buyer actually pays; it does not reduce your payout.

Profit = selling price - fees - item cost - supplies - shipping you pay. Reverse mode finds the lowest price, in whole cents, that reaches your target profit.

Limits

The buyer fee is described as typical, not fixed, and is shown with VAT where it applies. Vinted's UK and other markets have their own rates; this tool defaults to the US figures on Vinted's US help page. Shipping is paid in different ways in different markets, so enter only what you pay yourself. Not tax or financial advice.

FAQ

Does Vinted charge sellers a fee?

Vinted's help page says there are no fees for uploading items or selling them on Vinted, and that you receive the full selling price in your Vinted Wallet once the sale closes.

What is the Vinted fee for buyers?

A mandatory fee paid at checkout. Vinted's page says it varies with item characteristics, order value and whether it is a single item or a bundle, and typically includes a percentage and a fixed fee, usually 5% + $0.70.

Does the buyer fee come out of my payout?

No. It is added to the buyer's order total at checkout. It matters to you only because it makes the item cost the buyer more than your listed price.

How do I price an item on Vinted to make a target profit?

Because the seller fee is zero, price = target profit + item cost + supplies + shipping you pay. For $15 profit on a $10 item with $1 supplies that is $26.00.
