Worked example

50,000 Bits cheered at one cent each is $500.00 a month, $6,000.00 a year. Bits spent in extensions pay whatever share Twitch Help lists for extensions, which you enter in its own field. Against a $50.00 payout minimum, Bits alone clear it in the first month.

How it works

Twitch's Partner Program overview says Partners get a share of the revenue Twitch receives from Bits equal to 1 cent per Bit used to Cheer for them. Twitch's 13 May 2026 blog post says streamers must earn Affiliate or Partner status to receive a payout and Bits spent in extensions are shared with the extension developer, so look up the current extension share in Twitch Help and enter it in its field; it is left at zero (full rate) until you do.

The rate and payout minimum are fields so you can change them if Twitch updates its terms. Bits that viewers buy cost them more than a cent each; that difference is Twitch's and is not part of your income.

This tool prices Bits only. Subs, ads and sponsorships are separate, and taxes and fees are not modelled.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent or stored.

FAQ

How much is 1,000 Bits worth to a streamer?

At the published rate of 1 cent per Bit cheered, 1,000 Bits is $10.00 to the streamer. Viewers pay more than that to buy them.

Do you need to be an Affiliate to get paid for Bits?

Yes. Twitch says streamers must earn Affiliate or Partner status to receive a payout. The Affiliate tracker on this site compares your numbers with the requirements.

What about Bits used in extensions?

Extension Bits are shared with the extension developer. Look up the current share in Twitch Help and enter it in the extension share field; leaving it at zero prices them at the full per-Bit rate.

When is the payout?

It depends on your payout method and minimum, which you can enter. This tool shows how many months Bits alone would take to reach it.
