YouTube views to first payout calculator.
Enter your RPM, the payment threshold and your monthly views. The tool shows the total views needed, your revenue per month and how many months until your balance reaches the threshold. Runs in your browser; nothing is sent or stored.
Views needed = (threshold - current balance) / RPM x 1,000. At a $3.00 RPM, reaching $100 takes 33,333 views.

Worked example
At a $3.00 RPM a $100.00 threshold needs 100 / 3 x 1,000 = 33,333 views. At 10,000 views a month the channel earns $30.00 a month, so the balance reaches the threshold in 4 months. With $40.00 already earned, only 20,000 more views are needed.
How it works
Google AdSense lists the payment threshold for US dollars as $100 and for Canadian dollars as C$100, and says you are paid when your outstanding earnings reach it with no holds on the account. Its payments page says a payment is issued between the 21st and 26th of the month, and uses an example where $100 reached in January is paid at the end of February.
RPM is your estimated revenue per 1,000 views from YouTube Analytics and varies by audience, topic and season. A channel also has to be in the YouTube Partner Program before views earn ad revenue; see the 4,000 watch hours calculator for that timeline.
Other currencies have other thresholds on AdSense's page. The field is editable.

FAQ
How many views do I need to get paid on YouTube?
It depends on your RPM and the payment threshold. AdSense lists $100 (or C$100) as the threshold, so at a $3.00 RPM you need about 33,333 views of earnings to reach it.
Do I get paid for views before joining the Partner Program?
No. Ad revenue only counts once the channel is accepted into the YouTube Partner Program, so views before that do not add to the balance.
When is the money paid?
AdSense says payment is issued between the 21st and 26th of the month once finalised earnings have reached the threshold and there are no holds. Its own example pays a January balance at the end of February.
Where do I find my RPM?
In YouTube Studio under Analytics, Revenue. It is different for every channel, so do not copy one from the internet.
