Worked example

30 sales of a $297 offer is $8,910.00. On Basic with Kajabi Payments (2.9% + $0.30) processing costs $267.39. The annual Basic plan is $143, so you keep $8,499.61, 95.4% of sales. The same month would leave $8,452.52 on Growth and $8,261.43 on Pro, so at this volume Basic leaves the most: the lower rate on the higher plans does not make up for their higher plan price.

How it works

Kajabi's pricing page lists Kajabi Payments at 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro, for US entities, and a fee of 2%, 1% and 0.5% when you use a third-party provider, on top of that provider's own charges. Its FAQ says Kajabi does not take a revenue share, so there is no platform cut beyond these.

Plans cost $179, $249 and $499 a month, or $143, $199 and $399 a month billed annually, per the page. PayPal is excluded from the third-party fee. Rates for other countries are in Kajabi's help centre and are not modelled. Taxes, refunds and chargebacks are not included.
