JSON-LD

Worked example: a Product with a name and image but none of review, aggregateRating, or offers. It fails Google's product snippet rule. Add an offers object and it passes.

Privacy note: parsing happens in this browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, and no URL is fetched.

Result

Paste JSON-LD and press Validate.

What this checks

Syntax and context

Parses the JSON, accepts a single object, an array, or an @graph, and flags a missing @type or an @context that does not point at schema.org.

Required properties

Product: name plus one of review, aggregateRating, offers. BreadcrumbList: itemListElement with position, name, and item (optional on the last crumb). Article and Organization have no required properties; missing recommended ones show as warnings.

FAQPage

Google removed its FAQ rich result documentation in June 2026 because the feature no longer shows in Search. This tool still checks the Question and Answer structure, but a pass earns no Google rich result.

Format check only. Passing here does not guarantee a rich result, and Google may still refuse markup that does not match visible page content. Confirm with Google's Rich Results Test.

JSON-LD questions

Will a pass get me a rich result?

No. The tool checks syntax and the properties Google documents. Eligibility also depends on content quality, page visibility, and Google's own choices. Use the Rich Results Test for Google's verdict.

Why does Article show warnings but no errors?

Google's Article documentation says there are no required properties, only recommended ones such as headline, image, datePublished, dateModified, and author. Missing ones are flagged as warnings.

Can I paste the whole script tag?

Yes. Every application/ld+json script block in pasted HTML is extracted and checked separately.

What about other types like Recipe or Event?

They are parsed and given a note, but no required-property check is built in for them. Only the five types above are checked.
