Search

This lookup sends the brand and model you enter to ENERGY STAR (data.energystar.gov) from your browser to fetch the record. Nothing goes through TNAADO servers.

Certified listings

Enter a brand or model number to search.

Worked example

Searching brand Whirlpool in Consumer Refrigeration Products returned, as of September 30, 2026, listings such as model WRTX5419S*** (certified 2025-07-31, sold in the United States and Canada, flagged Most Efficient: Yes) and WRMC5036R*** (certified 2025-09-22, Most Efficient: No). Two things to read from that: a listing means the model is on the current certified list, and the Most Efficient flag is a separate, higher bar.

How to read the result

FAQ

Does ENERGY STAR certified guarantee a rebate?

No. Utility and government rebates set their own eligibility lists and tier thresholds, often tighter than base certification. Check the program rules.

How current is the data?

The dataset is refreshed by ENERGY STAR on a daily cadence; the lookup queries it live each time you search, so nothing is stored by this page.

Is my search sent anywhere?

Your brand and model text goes directly from your browser to the ENERGY STAR open data service to run the search. TNAADO does not receive it.

Why does a Canadian model not appear?

Canadian listings come from the same index when the model is sold in Canada. Programs in Canada may also use NRCan lists, which are separate.
