Perfume ml to oz.

Perfume is sold in ml in most places and in fluid ounces in the US. Type a size either way to convert it, see where it sits against the 100 ml / 3.4 oz carry-on limit, and scan the table of common bottle sizes. Runs in your browser.

Worked example

One US fluid ounce is 29.57353 ml, so a 50 ml bottle is 50 / 29.57353 = 1.69 fl oz, which rounds to 1.7 oz. Going the other way, 1.7 x 29.57353 = 50.3 ml. A 100 ml bottle is 3.38 fl oz, which rounds to 3.4 oz. TSA states its carry-on limit as 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) per container, so a 100 ml bottle is within it.

How it works

ml to fl oz = ml / 29.57353. fl oz to ml = fl oz x 29.57353. The factor is the NIST conversion for the US fluid ounce (2.957 353 E+01 mL). This tool uses the US fluid ounce.

What this is not. Labels round, so printed ounces and the metric size rarely match exactly. The carry-on check is for the container size printed on the bottle, not the amount of liquid left inside, and applies to US TSA screening. Airlines and other countries set their own rules.
