The starting lead times are common rules of thumb, not a published standard. Your stylist, aesthetician or lash artist may want a different gap, and anything new to your skin is safer tried well ahead of the day.

Worked example

A wedding on Saturday 12 June 2027 with the starting lead times: first facial 2027-03-20 (84 days before), hair trial 2027-04-17 (56 days), makeup trial 2027-04-24 (49 days), final facial 2027-05-29 (14 days), lash extensions and gel nails 2027-06-10 (2 days, a Thursday). The first appointment is 2027-03-20.

How it works

Each date is event date minus the days before, counted on the calendar (leap days included), and shown with its weekday so you can spot a Sunday when your salon is closed. Rows are sorted from earliest to latest. If you open the page after a date has passed, that row is marked rather than hidden.

The lead times are not a rule. The starting numbers are common rules of thumb, not a published standard. There is no official schedule for bridal beauty; use your own professionals' advice and change any row. Try new products, treatments or lash adhesives well before the day so a skin reaction does not land on the wedding week, and tell your provider about allergies and sensitivities.

Sources and basis (checked 2026-10-08): arithmetic on the dates and day counts you enter; no external standard applies.

FAQ

When should I get lash extensions before my wedding?

There is no official rule. A common approach is a few days before, so the set looks settled and any irritation shows up early. Ask your lash artist and change the days in the first column. If you have never had lash extensions or gel polish, book a test or patch appointment well before the date.

How far ahead should I book the hair and makeup trial?

Often a month or two before, so there is time to adjust the look. The starting values here are 56 days for hair and 49 for makeup, and they are only a rule of thumb you can edit.

Can I use this for prom or another event?

Yes. Enter the event date and delete or change the rows. For a single day of getting ready, the prom getting-ready schedule works backward from your leave time instead.

Why is a date marked as passed?

The page compares each date with today on your device. If you are inside the lead time already, move the appointment as close to the original gap as your provider allows.

Does this book appointments or store my data?

No. It does date arithmetic in your browser and nothing is saved or sent.
