Bottle service minimum spend calculator.

Enter the table minimum and the venue's fee, tax and gratuity terms. See the all-in total and how much more than the minimum you will pay. Runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

Total = base + fee + tax + gratuity. With a $1,000 minimum, a 12% fee, 8.375% sales tax on minimum plus fee, and 20% gratuity on the minimum, the total is $1,413.80, or 1.4138 times the minimum. Those percentages are an example, not a quote.

Worked example (also the calculator's check)

A $1,000 table with a 12% admin fee, 8.375% sales tax charged on the minimum plus the fee, and a 20% gratuity charged on the minimum: fee $120.00, tax 8.375% of $1,120.00 = $93.80, gratuity $200.00. Total $1,413.80. The multiplier is 1 + 0.12 + 0.08375 x 1.12 + 0.20 = 1.4138. A published guide describes one Las Vegas club's terms in exactly this shape (41.38% on top of the minimum), which is why this is the default worked case; the figures are an illustration from a secondary source and the venue's own booking terms always govern.

Change a toggle and the answer moves: charge the same tax on the minimum only and tax drops to $83.75; charge gratuity on minimum plus fee plus tax and it rises to $242.76.

How the calculation works

Base B = minimum + any spend above the minimum. Fee = fee% x B. Tax = tax% x (B + fee), or tax% x B if you pick "minimum only". Gratuity = gratuity% x the basis you choose (B, B + fee, or B + fee + tax). Total = B + fee + tax + gratuity. The multiplier is total divided by B. Every percentage and both basis choices are inputs because venues differ; ask for the itemized total in writing before you commit.

The overage field treats extra bottles or orders as part of the base, so they carry the same fee, tax and gratuity as the minimum. Some venues price add-ons differently, so check your terms. Rounding is to the cent at the end.

FAQ

How much does a bottle service table cost with tax and tip?

Add the venue or admin fee, sales tax and gratuity to the minimum. With the example terms on this page (12% fee, 8.375% tax on minimum plus fee, 20% gratuity on the minimum) a $1,000 minimum becomes $1,413.80. Your venue's numbers will differ.

Is sales tax charged on the minimum or on the minimum plus the fee?

It depends on the venue. One published guide says the tax is charged on the minimum plus the admin fee, so this tool defaults to that and lets you switch to the minimum only. Check your venue's terms.

Is gratuity included in bottle service?

Often a gratuity is added to the bill as a percentage, but the basis and whether it is required vary. The tool lets you choose what it applies to and set it to 0.

What happens if I spend more than the minimum?

Anything above the minimum is added to the bill. Enter it in the overage field to see the new total; the tool assumes the fee, tax and gratuity apply to it as well.

What if I spend less than the minimum?

Guides report that the venue typically still charges the full minimum. Enter the minimum, not what you ordered.
