VIP host table commission calculator.
Enter the table terms, your commission rate and how many parties split it. See your share per table and a monthly total from the number of tables you enter. Your rate is an input, not a claim.
Your share = (commission % x basis) / people sharing + tips. On a $1,000 minimum at 10% commission on the minimum, split between two hosts, each gets $50 per table. The 10% is a placeholder; use your own agreement.

Worked example
Table minimum $1,000, 12% venue fee, 8.375% tax on minimum plus fee, 20% gratuity. If your agreement pays 10% on the minimum, the pool is $100.00. Two hosts split it, so each share is $50.00. Add a $20 tip and your take is $70.00 per table; at four tables that month the what-if total is $280.00. If the same 10% is paid on the total before gratuity ($1,213.80), the pool becomes $121.38 and each share $60.69. The basis alone changes the answer by nearly 21%, so find out which one your agreement uses.
How it works
The table inputs first produce the base, fee and tax exactly as in the minimum-spend calculator. The commission basis is either the base alone or base + fee + tax (everything before gratuity). Pool = commission % x basis. Your share = pool divided by the number of people sharing. Monthly = (your share + tip per table) x tables per month.
Nothing here knows what any venue pays. Commission structures, whether a host is an employee or an independent contractor, and whether tips are pooled are set by the venue and your agreement. The tip pool and salon commission calculators linked below use similar split arithmetic for other settings.
What this does not cover
- What any venue or host actually pays. The rate is yours to enter and the page makes no claim about typical rates.
- Whether commission is paid on minimum, actual spend, or collected revenue, and whether comped or unpaid tables count. Check your agreement.
- Chargebacks, no-shows or reductions after the night.
- Taxes on your earnings (see the take-home calculator) and employee versus contractor status.
- Promised or expected income. The monthly figure is a what-if from the table count you type.
Results vary. This page does arithmetic on the numbers you type. It does not predict or promise any income, and it uses your assumptions, not typical ones.

FAQ
How do VIP hosts get paid on bottle service tables?
Arrangements differ: some are paid a percentage of the table spend, some a flat amount, some a base plus commission. This calculator only handles the percentage case, with the rate and basis you enter.
Is commission calculated on the minimum or the total?
It depends on the agreement. The tool offers the minimum (plus overage) or the total before gratuity, so you can compare both.
How do I split commission with other promoters?
Enter the number of people sharing. The pool is divided equally; if your split is unequal, use your percentage as the commission rate instead.
Are tips included in the commission?
No. Tips are a separate optional input so you can see commission alone or with tips.
Can I use this to estimate a monthly income?
It multiplies one table's result by the tables you enter, as a what-if. Table counts vary a lot, so try several values rather than relying on one.
