GMC register check.
Pick what you have, check the shape of a GMC reference number locally, then open the GMC’s own register for the real answer.
Use the official register for the answer: A correctly shaped number is not proof of registration. Only the GMC register shows whether a doctor, physician associate or anaesthesia associate is registered.

What do you have?
Before you rely on the result
How to search

What to know before you search
Doctors versus associates
The GMC keeps registers of doctors, physician associates and anaesthesia associates. Doctors hold a seven-digit number; physician and anaesthesia associates hold eight characters, the letter A then seven digits.
Certificates are not a live check
A printed certificate of proof of entry is not a reliable current check, because the person’s status may have changed since it was issued.
