TNAADO Tools is operated by TNAADO Inc, 1050 King St W, Toronto, Ontario M6K 0C7, Canada. This page describes exactly what happens to data when you use this site. It is written to be checkable rather than comprehensive-sounding.
There are no accounts
Every calculator and converter on this site works with no sign-up, no login and no user database. We do not ask for your name, email address or payment details to use any of them, and there is nothing here to create a profile against.
What you type into a calculator
The tools run in your browser. Salary figures, mortgage amounts, text you paste into a counter, images you drop into a converter: these are processed on your own device and are not transmitted to us or stored on a server.
Two tools are a deliberate exception, because they cannot work otherwise. My IP and IP Lookup send a request to third-party IP lookup services (ipify and ipwho.is) in order to return your address or the address you asked about. Those providers see the request. If that is not acceptable to you, do not use those two pages; every other tool is unaffected.
Analytics
Analytics is off unless you opt in through our privacy banner. If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 and our own first-party page-view collector. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects a truncated IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you visit. Our collector records the page, referrer, campaign tags, a first-party browser identifier, visible time, and location and device fields derived by the receiving server.
The generated embed widgets are analytics-free.
Tools that handle files, text, passwords and similar input
Tool pages for files, pasted text, passwords, signatures, photos, receipts and similar input have two parts. The page around the tool is an ordinary page: it explains the tool, shows advertising, and uses the advertising and (if you opted in) analytics described on this page. The tool itself runs in a separate, isolated frame inside that page. Your browser seals the frame: it cannot read the page around it or share cookies or storage with it, the page cannot read what you put into it, and its security policy blocks every network request, so it cannot send a file, a line of text, a password or a result to us or to anyone else. The frame loads no advertising, analytics, consent or AI code and no script from another site. Files and text you choose are read by your own browser, and anything you download is created on your device. The frame address is excluded from search indexes.
We cannot see what you do inside the frame, and because the advertising on the surrounding page is loaded outside it, advertising and analytics providers cannot read the frame either. Like any visitor to a website, you are still seen by them opening the page itself. Location, camera, microphone and clipboard-read access are not granted to these pages. The only exceptions to the rule that nothing leaves your device are the two IP lookup tools described above.
Advertising
This site is funded by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, including personalised ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. Google's own description of this is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. Visitors in regions where consent is required are shown a consent prompt through Google's Funding Choices, and your choice there governs what is set.
Fonts and CDNs
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, and a small number of pages load a library from a public CDN. Those providers necessarily see the request, including your IP address.
Your choices
Choose "Reject non-essential" in our privacy banner to keep both analytics systems off, or reopen Cookie Preferences from the footer to change that choice. Clearing site storage removes your saved choice and causes the site to ask again. Browser cookie controls can stop cookie-based analytics and advertising, while a content blocker may also block analytics requests. The tools keep working either way.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and comparable law elsewhere, you have rights of access and correction over personal information an organisation holds about you. We have no account profile for tool users; analytics records are used for aggregate reporting. Questions: contact@tnaado.ca.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this page changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
