The output is a square PNG whose pixels outside the circle are transparent. That makes it suitable for profile photos, team pages, contact cards, and designs that need a reusable circular asset.

Crop position and limits

The largest possible centred square is used. This version does not include face detection or manual repositioning, so an off-centre subject may need the regular cropper first. Metadata is not copied.
